Yesterday I was in an auto accident, which is why I didn't bother to post last night. Not that you were askin or anything.
Not much to tell in terms of story: neither of us was going that fast. I was turning left, and in the far lane of the street I was turning into, someone in an SUV had stopped in the intersection, blocking my view of oncoming traffic. S/he pulled forward, and I was turning as someone else was coming through. The slick roads didn't let me do much beyond brace for impact. The other driver was fine, as am I, but my car's got a powerful mangle on the front right corner, and I'm probably still in a little bit of emotional shock over it.
Funny how stuff like this works. It feels like I was jolted into a different life-speed all of a sudden. I don't feel much like eating, going anywhere, doing anything. I'm sure that it will wear off in a day or so, but I feel really unfocused. My body's a little achy, although that may be from working out yesterday, but more than that, my life feels achy.
I'll probably show up here again tonight. See you then.

Hey Sweetie! Glad you are OK. Take some advil and call me tomorrow if the ache persists...I'll tell you silly stories until it goes away. Or, you'll at least lie and say it's gone so that the stories will go away....
Dude, glad you are ok.
Accidents suck. Give yourself some time to get the ringing out of your head. If your hands shake noticeably, drink large quantities of alcohol. Sleep a lot. Then, punch some pillows.
