It's been a few months now, since I started this, and I'm beginning to feel the pressures of the MT calendar. I go to all the trouble of trying to turn my calendar orange (or whatever color I end up choosing next), and as soon as I do, it changes over to a new month.
There's something mildly Sisyphean about this. I must admit, though, that there are times when, if I didn't know that I'd have blank dates staring out at me for the whole month, I wouldn't write. A quick scan of the archives would probably give you a good idea of exactly which days those were.
Funny how that works. If I could just install MT calendars now for the other, (arguably) more important things in my life--like working out, writing my book, grading student papers--I'd probably be a much more efficient person. Then again, if all the MT plug-ins were available to me outside of the blog, I'd spend all of my time installing, uninstalling, configuring, hacking, tweaking--instead of the some of my time I spend now.
Yeah. I should leave now before I conclude that the blog has a better life than I do.
